How Much To Install Tile Around Tub

Jannick Top - Infernal Machina Magma

This space is dedicated basically to Magma, but with which we have been surprised Jannick Top deserves some comments and can not pass by unnoticed.

Photo: Thierry Moreau - 1996

Jannick Top is a renowned bassist, composer and musical director Frenchman, who has to his credit an amount not less than contributions and contributions as a session musician. However, making it a true bastion of rock art, is its vital presence one of the most remarkable formations that Magma has in its long history, participating in the band's essential albums of Christian Vander as Destruktïw Kommandöh Mekanik "," Köhntarkhösz "and" Udu Wudu ". It is also the composer of the theme "Future" not only a cornerstone of classic Gallic group, but also a trademark of the Zeuhl sound. (Roughly, the Zeuhl Music is a style emerged in the early 70's that combines avant-garde, progressive rock, jazz-fusion, spiritual, gospel music and learned neo-classical)

Given the vast experience that supports, Top no difficulty in convening the presence of large Zeuhl movement representatives and form a musical group of just seeing the list, below, is the soul leaves the body. Listening carefully at each item, you may sense the magic and passion they have in common each participant of this work, becoming accomplices and development actors of the plate, where the compositions are intertwined, giving it a larger span the musical trance proposed work.

Disc has the main characteristics of this rock-spiritual movement, having the unique ability to provide the sensation of free fall in a kind of bottomless pit. Indeed, One of the highlights of this work is that he knew how a power top that, that makes a difference through innovative and energized sound in relation to other style sheets, where the same performers have been involved. In fact, this seemed the only alternative to becoming a "reload" without further intentions and contributions to the style. This, considering that current bands like Koenji Hyakkei, Zeuhl modernized sound and turned it into a real machine to demolish neurons.

rocker For an auditor, but no lover of Zeuhl, the disc will feel like a simple musical line decorated that goes "in crescendo" at its pace as they pass the minutes to end up being a record that is monotonous. In contrast to a spirit "kobaiano," Magma-fan, each part is where it should be and meets the objective of the auditor mysteriously transported to a space intangible, enigmatic and mystic. Insofar as the record progresses, each section has passed acquires its value and is vital to the overall concept of work: I can not hear their parts separately, because as is common in the works of the style, the albums are designed as an integrated whole.

Although the album does not represent a major innovation in the style, it does something very important: the perfect synthesis a complex movement and its musical characteristics. Thus, what he did Jannick Top was taking the trend to transform the vigorous and dazzling version, retrieving each of the basic elements needed to shape a work which, no doubt happy to leave much of the who delight in the heavenly sound of rock. MAGMA : BOURGES 1979 - SEVENTH RECORDS AKT 15

AKT 15 is the latest and long awaited document of the AKT series. While chosen
for their rich and original musical content, rather than strictly technical
qualities per se, these archives are a testament to the astounding talent of
cult band Magma during its soon-to-be 40 years of career. This particular
concert, recorded in Bourges in 1979, stands out as a moment of grace, partly
due to its extreme tension and the risks taken collectively, which the
audience still reminisces of to this day. And if all the musicians offer, as
usual, their energy ever so in synch with their worldly reputation, AKT 15
holds a special place in the band's history, documenting for the first time
ever this particular period. All earthly fans and more recent amateurs will,
without a doubt, take great pleasure in (re)discovering that exceptional
performance.
